Renowned Hollywood figure Keanu Reeves engaged warmly with fans, signing autographs and exchanging words outside the venue of his upcoming performance with Dogstar, drawing a crowd eager for a glimpse of the star.
Hours prior to his gig at the Fremont Theater in San Luis Obispo, California, on Thursday, Reeves, aged 58, was captured carrying his bass guitar, displaying an amiable demeanor as he interacted with awaiting enthusiasts of the band.
Sporting dark jeans, a black t-shirt layered beneath a grey and black coat, complemented by oversized dark sunglasses, brown boots, and a brown baseball cap, the John Wick actor opted for a casual ensemble. After spending time conversing with fans, Reeves proceeded indoors accompanied by his security detail.
Reuniting with Dogstar after a two-decade hiatus, Reeves co-founded the band in 1991 alongside Robert Mailhouse and Gregg Miller, later joined by Brett Domrose in 1994. Following the release of their EP “Quattro Formaggi” in 1996 and their debut studio album “Our Little Visionary,” Dogstar disbanded in 2002 after the release of their second album, “Happy Ending.”
Despite maintaining periodic jam sessions, the band intensified their collaboration during the CоVID-19 pаndeмic in 2020, engaging in songwriting sessions that culminated in the creation of new material.
Launching their third album, “Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees,” on October 6, Dogstar embarked on a 25-date tour commencing on August 10 at Hermosa Beach, California.
