Lil Wayne says he was ‘treated like s***’ at the Lakers game on Thursday night, but admitted he wasn’t surprised following his criticism of Anthony Davis late last year.
The rapper, 41, said in November on ‘Undisputed’ that the team needed to ‘get rid’ of the All-NBA center, and he now believes those comments were the reason for his apparent bad treatment at Crypto.com Arena.
‘Wow! Got treated like s*** at the Laker game just now but I figured they’d do me that sooner or later either bc of what i said [about] AD or simply bc they don’t [f*** with me] which I been got that vibe from em as well so all good I get it,’ he wrote on X after the Lakers beat the Wizards.
‘F*** em. It isn’t what it isn’t. I’m used to it.’
On November 10, Wayne appeared on ‘Undisputed’ alongside Skip Bayless, Michael Irvin and Keyshawn Johnson.

The rapper was not happy with how he was treated on Thursday night at the Lakers game
The rapper criticized Lakers center Anthony Davis and said the team needed to trade him
And the five-time Grammy winner harshly criticized Davis after he had missed the previous game with hip and groin spasms.
‘If the Lakers wanna be a championship team, and [in] the future as well – you gotta get rid of AD,’ he said.
He also appeared to question the big man’s durability, saying ,’You don’t wanna say he’s soft… whatever it is, it’s AD. Because that’s his make-up and that’s who he is, and he’s shown us that.’
The Lakers were 3-5 when that episode of ‘Undisputed’ was taped, though Davis has largely remained healthy this season and LA is 7-3 in its last ten games.
He led the Lakers with 40 points and 15 rebounds as they beat the Wizards 134-131 in overtime.

Davis is averaging 25.1 points, 12.3 rebounds and 2.4 blocks through 57 games this season.
The Lakers, meanwhile, started the season slow like last year but are now 33-28 and just three games out of the No. 5 seed in the West.
Wayne is a noted sports fan, and was seen earlier this month in Indianapolis taking in the action at NBA All-Star Weekend.
He is famously a huge Packers fan as well.
