AMC Networks’ WE TV has approved a new series, Toya & Reginae, portraying the ex-wife and daughter of the New Orleans Hip Hop great, according to Variety (April). The new show is a continuation of WE TV’s popular Growing Up Hip Hop franchise, which Johnson-Rashing and Carter have worked on.
In the fall, Toya & Reginae will air exclusively on WE TV and sister station ALLBLK.
In a recent statement, Johnson-Rashing expressed excitement to reintroduce viewers to her family’s activities.
Wayne is preparing for his participation in The Carter Tour, which will take place in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday, May 9th.
