Keanu Reeves, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, and Kevin Hart rubbed elbows at a special ‘Kids and Capes’ screening of their new animated movie DC League of Super-Pets at AMC The Grove 14 in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Keanu wore his signature color – black – in the form of a pinstripe suit over a dark teal sweater, and $239.95 Alpinestars ‘Monty V2’ shoes selected by stylist Jeanne Yang.
It’s hard to believe the Beirut-born Canadian is 57 years old with only a few crow’s feet lining his evergreen, silver-bearded face.
Reeves voiced Gotham City’s vigilante superhero Bruce Wayne/Batman, who eventually adopts a shelter dog called Ace, in Jared Stern’s action comedy hitting US/UK theaters July 29.
Speaking of Ace, Kevin proudly posed with his costumed character on the red carpet.
In the family flick, the 43-year-old comedian voiced the Boxer, who transforms into Bat-Hound after magically becoming super strong and indestructible.
Hart looked dapper in a green suit over a white shirt and matching sneakers selected by stylist Ashley North.
The two-time Emmy and Grammy nominee – rocking an emerald necklace and fancy gold watch – discussed the great relationship he has ‘on-screen and off-screen’ with Dwayne, whom he’s co-starred with five times.
‘Typically, you don’t have the relationships on-screen and off at this magnitude,’ Kevin explained to ET at the premiere.
‘So I like the fact that we get along, I love that we respond to the material that’s been presented to us, and I like still finding ways to be creative.’
Hart also weighed in on Will Smith slapping Chris Rock – whom he both ‘loves’ – at the 94th Academy Awards back on March 27.
‘You know, you can’t judge a person by one thing. Ultimately, life goes on and people grow, so give [Will] the opportunity to do so,’ the 5ft4in Philly funnyman – who had his own Oscar scandal in 2019 – said.
‘Will is apologetic, you know, he’s in a better space, of course, than what he was after. People are human and as humans sometimes we make mistakes. So it’s not about talking about the past, it’s about acknowledging the present and doing your best to move forward. I can get only hope that the two of them find a way to find some solace in that and move past it. I just like good energy. I love to see people be the best.’
Meanwhile, Johnson forgoed the top of his white suit in order to better showcase his bulging tattooed biceps in a clingy black short-sleeved button-up top.
The third-generation wrestler easily defied his 50 years in the white pleated pants and black loafers sans socks selected by stylist Ilaria Urbinati.
Dwayne proudly posed with his costumed character, a Kryptonian Labrador Retriever called Krypto/Bark Kent/Superdog.
Super-Pets is centered on Krypto’s adventure rescuing his owner Kal-El/Clark Kent/Superman (John Krasinski) from a hairless guinea pig called Lulu (Kate McKinnon) and Lex Luthor (Marc Maron).
‘It’s a premiere that benefits a lot of foundations. We’re doing it for the kids. We’re doing it for the families here,’ Johnson gushed on the red carpet.
‘Enjoy the movie on the 29th and also get your tickets to Super-Pets. You will enjoy the movie. You’ll love it!’
The crowd went wild as Kevin entered the cinema with three of his four children – son Hendrix, 14; daughter Heaven, 17; and son Kenzo, 4 – from his marriages to Torrei Hart and Eniko Parrish.
Hart and his blended brood posed for a snap with some of the cast and crew as well as a hoard of starstruck, masked children behind them.
The Matrix Resurrections action star even cracked a rare smile as he goofed around with his castmates during the pre-screening Q&A.
Jameela Jamil – who voiced Diana Prince/Wonder Woman – flaunted cleavage in an animal-print Roberto Cavalli pantsuit and Louboutin heels selected by ‘image architect’ Law Roach.
