In the wake of his departure from Paris Saint-Germain, Lionel Messi put pen to paper with Inter Miami, joining forces with David Beckham, who is the general manager of the franchise. The seven-time winner of the Ballon d’Or celebrated his move to a new club in grand fashion by hitting a signature free kick that was the difference in the Leagues Cup match against Cruz Azul.

Just a few days later, he made his first start and scored a brace in the first half of his team’s spectacular 4-0 victory over Atlanta United in the match that was his debut. After that, Messi and Beckham, who is a co-owner of the franchise, were spotted out partying together.

They indulged in a meal at the opulent Gekko restaurant in Miami. They were also joined by the newly signed player Sergio Busquets, as well as his wife Elena Galera, and another co-owner named Jorge Mas.

Messi and Beckham, along with their respective wives Antonela and Victoria, have been seen dining at the Japanese-inspired Steakhouse, which is a favorite venue for celebs in the neighborhood. Gekko is a restaurant that specializes in East Asian cuisine and is most well-known for the extensive selection of steaks that it offers.

On the menu, there is a piece that weighs 42 ounces and is labeled as “A5 Bone in Ribeye, Kagoshima, Mizusako.” It has a jaw-dropping price tag of $1200 (about £940). When you factor in some sides, you’re looking at spending over a thousand pounds for the top-of-the-line item.

In addition, the eatery, which can be found at 8 SE 8th Street in Miami, provides customers with a vast selection of sushi, beverages, and shared platters. The interior of the building includes an eye-catching, contemporary design that draws inspiration from Japanese culture and serves as a backdrop for the patrons.

Ahead of his move to the Major League Soccer, Lionel Messi claimed that one of the primary reasons he chose Inter Miami was the way of life in the Sunshine State. “After winning the World Cup and not being able to go to Barca, it was time to go to the United States League to live football differently,” he stated. “After that, it was time to go to the United States League.”

“I want to enjoy the day-to-day activities more. ostensibly with the same duty and the same desire to win and to always perform things to the best of their abilities. But with less agitation.” After dining at one of the most acclaimed establishments in the city, it is clear that he is having a good time.

After Messi made his debut the previous Friday, a large number of celebrities showed up to watch the game at the DRV PNK Stadium and then continued their night at the restaurant in Miami. Kim Kardashian, a reality television personality, and Tristan Thompson, a free agent for the NBA, were seen at Gekko.

The restaurant with a Japanese inspiration first opened its doors during the summer of 2017, and Spice Girls manager David Beckham was there to celebrate the occasion alongside his wife Victoria. David Grutman, a tycoon in the hospitality industry, and Bad Bunny, a rapper from Puerto Rico, are the owners of Gekko.
