Keanu Reeves has admitted he had a crush on Speed costar Sandra Bullock. 

The 54-year-old actor confessed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week that during the filming of the 1994 hit he was rather fond of the beautiful brunette but didn’t make a move because he wanted to keep things professional.

During Friday’s show Ellen played the actor a clip of Sandra, 54, admitting her crush on the action star last year.

‘Did you know that she had a crush on you?’ the comedian asked Keanu, to which he replied: ‘No. She obviously didn’t know that I had a crush on her, either.’

The audience cheered as Ellen said, ‘I can’t believe you both had crushes on each other… and you were so scared.’

‘We were working!’ the John Wick star replied as Ellen probed further, asking if he had ever had a romance with someone he did a movie with.

The actor hinted that he had indulged in a workplace romance but remained coy on the details.  

‘It was nice to go to work,’ the movie heartthrob added of his time working with Sandra on the 1994 action flick.

‘She’s such a wonderful person, such a wonderful actress,’ he gushed.

Ellen quipped, ‘I believe she’s in a relationship now, the window closed.’

Sandra has been dating photographer Bryan Randall since 2015.

During her sit down chat with Ellen in December Sandra admitted it was hard to stay focuses working opposite someone as handsome as Keanu.

‘It was hard… it was really hard for me to be serious. He would look at me and I’d be like…’ Sandra said as she giggled nervously. 

Ellen jumped in. ‘Did ya’all get together? Did you date him?’

‘Never dated him. There was just something about about me I guess…. he didn’t like,’ Sandra laughed.

‘But I think we’re probably friends for that long… because we didn’t…’
