Dru Joyce III, the starting point guard for St. Vincent-St. Mary, had a successful playing career overseas after high school. He spent 12 seasons playing in Europe, primarily in Germany, with short stints in France and Belarus. In 2019, Joyce III concluded his playing career and transitioned into coaching. He started as an assistant coach at Cleveland State University and later became the associate head coach at Duquesne in 2022. Sian Cotton, known for his role as the team’s big man, pursued college football at The Ohio State University as a defensive tackle. After limited playing time in his first two seasons, Cotton transferred to Youngstown State and then NAIA Walsh University, where he concluded his football career. Following his football days, Cotton turned his attention to his passion for music. One of his songs was featured on the NBA 2K14 video game soundtrack in 2013, which was curated by LeBron James.

Willie McGee, another member of the Fab Five, went on to play football at Fairmont State University after high school. Upon graduating in 2008, he returned to St. Vincent-St. Mary as a coach and eventually became the school’s Athletic Director. McGee also held coaching positions at Akron East High School, the University of Akron, and Chowan University. In 2016, he founded the D.A.L.E program, an organization focused on education, athletics, and empowerment for disabled and disadvantaged local children. Currently, McGee works for the LeBron James Family Foundation.

Romeo Travis, who continued his basketball journey after high school, played for the University of Akron and became the school’s all-time leader in blocks. He went on to have a 14-year professional basketball career overseas, competing in Spain, Germany, Italy, Croatia, Russia, the Philippines, Ukraine, Israel, and France. Travis won championships in the Balkan League in 2012 and the French Pro A League in 2018, where he also earned the league MVP title that same season. His most recent team was Limoges CSP in France, where he played until 2021.
