And Selena Gomez showed just how much fun she was having as she frolicked on the beach and in the surf on Wednesday, sporting a stylish pink bikini and giving a rare glimpse of her toned curves.

The 30-year-old looked amazing in her skimpy two-piece, revealing her rarely-seen figure while lapping up the sunshine which came during a rare break from her busy schedule.

And she displayed her ample cleavage in a somewhat precarious triangle halter-top, which threatened to let her spill out from underneath.

Her bottom half was covered with an interesting double strap pair of bikini briefs, showing off her enviably rounded derriere.

She was clearly having a whale of a time with her group of friends, the five gorgeous young women invoking the spirit of her 2013 movie Spring Breakers in their teeny-tiny two-pieces.

However, the ocean seemed perhaps a bit too calm for them to really get a good body boarding session out of it, leaving the group heading back up onto the beach and the grass on the other side with their blue boards.

So she was no doubt enjoying some well-earned time off, and couldn’t have looked further away from her on-screen alter-ego in the upcoming film, set in the 1930s.

The Come & Get It hitmaker plays young mother Lisa London in onscreen adaptation of the 1936 novel by John Steinbeck.

Set during the Great Depression, the James Franco-directed film tells the story of an activist who gets caught up in a labour movement with Californian farm workers.

Selena’s boyfriend, DJ Zedd, didn’t appear to be on the idyllic getaway, leaving the singer and actress to frolic around with a group of friends.

The star seems to have put behind her her previous on-off romance with Justin Bieber, which saw her get mocked in the recent Comedy Central roast about the Canadian pop star.
