She revealed new music was on the way during a sit down on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night.
And Selena Gomez looked lovely in a bright blue dress with ruffled sleeves as she stepped out in New York on Wednesday morning.
The 26-year-old pop star was all-smiles as she headed into the studio for an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
Flirty ruffled sleeves covered her shoulders and large buttons running vertically down her gown were fastened together across a thick white band of fabric.
She pounded the pavement wearing a pair of white pumps and opted to go accessory-free for the appearance.
The Hands To Myself singer parted her chocolate brown hair to the side and tied back in a low ponytail.
Selena told Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night that she’s ‘actually done’ with a new album nearly four years after finishing Revival.
‘I have to do a few finishing things with it,’ she said. ‘I’m just relieved. It took me four years now to even feel at a good place with this album and it’s just because I had such huge moments that happened in my life personally.
‘How was I going to capture that and how was I going to feel good about what I was saying? I kept going and I feel relieved.’
She ‘explored more with electric guitar’ but made sure to stay true to her brand and created something that she hopes will truly reach her fans.
‘I love everything that I get to do and be a part of, but specifically something that connects with people on an emotional level is my favorite,’ she said.
